Cape Le Grand National Park at sunset. It can get pretty windy during the day down on the south coast of Western Australia, near Esperance. One great side effect of this though is, as the wind eases off in the afternoon, sea spray is left hanging in the air for a period, creating a soft haze that catches the afternoon light. This creates a beautiful glow that accentuates the distance to the granite peaks, rambling down to the ocean.
The granite boulders and mountain peaks are a feature of the Cape Le Grand National Park near Esperance, Western Australia. At sunset, the haze from the sea spray creates a beautiful orange glow as it is caught by the setting sun. The granite peaks of the national park recede gently in softening light.
